Why Finspan Is the Right Buy Right Now

Finspan is a sibling to the hugely popular Wingspan, but with an ocean theme. You collect fish, build your engine of abilities and watch your underwater world grow. It has the same gentle, nature-loving atmosphere, and the same satisfying feeling of chains of actions clicking into place.

If you like the idea of a calm, beautiful engine-builder with lots of replay value, Finspan is a smart and very pretty choice.

Why 3 Players Is the Sweet Spot

Interaction Without Stress

This is mostly a peaceful, build-your-own-thing game, but a few shared elements mean you do notice your opponents. With three, there is just enough interaction to keep it lively.

The Perfect Length

Turns come around quickly enough that you can keep your plans in mind, but there is enough variety to keep things interesting. At five, you might wait a while between turns.

Great Scoring Races

Three players makes scoring comparisons exciting. You will always be watching someone slightly ahead or slightly behind.

And With 1, 2, 4 or 5?

Solo is a nice quiet challenge, and two is smooth and thoughtful. Four or five works but can run longer. Three is the best balance.

Who Should Buy It?

• Fans of Wingspan or engine-building
• Nature and ocean lovers
• Players who like calm competition
• Solo gamers who want a relaxing puzzle

What Will It Cost?

Finspan typically costs around 350-450 kr. That is about the price of four fancy lattes, but with a much deeper well of fun.

Verdict: Dive In

If you want a calm, clever engine-builder that is at its best with three, Finspan is a splendid buy. Your fish will thank you.
